The quiet beaches at Salobreña or Playa Granada can be reached in 35 minutes. The house is suited for either a family or two groups of friends as it is L-shaped, with each part of the L forming a private unit with a separate entrance on to the garden. Each part of the house has own en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, bidet and WC. The huge semi-circular romantic master bedroom has a Queen size double bed as well as a double sofa bed. The twin bedroom in the other part of the house has two single beds, and is adjacent to the living room, where there is also a sofa bed. A single well equipped kitchen serves both parts. The attractive rustic furniture, both wooden and wrought iron has been made by local craftsmen. Both parts of the house have open plan areas with large fireplaces and sitting room areas with archways - both with comfortable sofas. Mains electricity is also available and there is a washing machine. An iron and an ironing board are also provided. Water heating and cooking use bottled gas. The pool is filled with the local water which comes from the mountains and is both changed regularly and pH controlled. There is air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms at night. The house is single-storey, thus recommended for those who like to be on one level. It is possible to drive up right to the front gate and to park. The lay-out: All bed linen and towels are included, but beach towels are not provided. In November - March, when heating will probably be necessary, we provide two electric heaters. If you want to enjoy a real fire, either in one or both of the wrought iron stoves, or in the fireplace, the friendly, English-speaking local girl who looks after the house will be able to sell you some at a very reasonable rate.
